Loop weights are heavy, dense and awkward — and they’re usually needed on a specific day, at a specific site. So we’ve built delivery around the way drilling projects actually run: fast when you’re close, planned when you’re not.
How much is on a pallet?
| Size | Per pallet | Per 20ft container |
|---|---|---|
| 20kg | 50 units | 1,200 units |
| 40kg | 25 units | 600 units |
| 56kg | 17 units | 432 units |
Standard GeoWeights are packed by size — roughly a tonne per pallet and around 24 tonnes per container, whichever size you choose.
Where we ship
UK & Ireland. Our fastest lane. If a job is short of weights or a new rig is starting sooner than planned, you’re not waiting a week.
Continental Europe. Palletised freight by road and sea, from a single pallet up to multi-pallet orders, plus full container loads for larger projects.
North America. Sea freight in full container loads, or consolidated pallet shipments for smaller trial orders — useful if you want to put a first batch through its paces before committing to a container.
Middle East and Asia-Pacific. Container shipments to major regional ports for large-scale geothermal projects, with documentation support for import and customs clearance.
Rest of the world. If your region isn’t listed, ask anyway. We ship globally and will find the right route to your site.
Customs and paperwork
- Commercial invoices
- HS code guidance for your GeoWeights order
- Packing lists
- Certificates of origin or other paperwork your customs broker needs
International orders are where time gets lost — usually in paperwork, not transit. Tell us what your import process requires when you enquire, and we’ll include it with your quote.
From enquiry to delivery in four steps
- EnquireTell us your loop system, quantities and destination, by form or phone.
- QuoteWe come back with a tailored quote covering product, packaging and freight to your site.
- Confirm & packYour order is packed to pallet or container specification.
- Dispatch & trackUK orders qualify for next-day dispatch; international shipments travel with the documentation to support clearance.
Planning a first import? Three tips
- Order by size, not by mix Pallets and containers are packed per size, so work out your mix across the whole project, not per borehole.
- Build in a buffer Sea freight lead times vary by route and season. We’ll confirm timing at quote stage — plan your first rigs around it.
- Start with a trial For North America and new markets, a consolidated pallet shipment lets your crews try GeoWeights before you commit to a full container.
